PARISH COUNCIL CHAIR

Cllr Mary Rook has been elected as Chair of the Parish Council to replace Cllr Liz Stephenson who resigned as Parish Council Chair for health reasons, though will continue as a Councillor.  The Parish Council would like to thank Liz for all the work that she has done for Goodmanham, and wishes her a speedy recovery.  Cllr Tony-Warnock Smith was elected as vice Chair.

PARISH COUNCIL EMAIL

The Parish Council email address has changed to clerk@goodmanham-pc.gov.uk.

PARTICIPATION AT COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Council has received queries from people who believe that the public are not allowed to speak at Council meetings.  This is not correct as there is time set aside at each meeting for the public the raise concerns about issues in the Parish.  This is always the first item on the agenda.  In addition parishioners have the opportunity to raise issues at the Annual Parish Meeting.  All regular Council meetings are open to the public.  These are publicised on this website and the Council's Facebook page.  Please contact the Clerk if you have any queries about attendance or participation at Council meetings.
