 CLLR LIZ STEPHENSON

The Parish Council is sad to report that Cllr Liz Stephenson has passed away.  Our thoughts are with her husband and family.

Cllr Stephenson has been on the Parish Council since 2011, and until recently was Chair of the Council.  She has been an active participant in Village activities, and the Church and will be missed by all who knew her.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Thursday 17th July at 1pm at All Hallows Church, Goodmanham.

PARTICIPATION AT COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Council has received queries from people who believe that the public are not allowed to speak at Council meetings.  This is not correct as there is time set aside at each meeting for the public the raise concerns about issues in the Parish.  This is always the first item on the agenda.  In addition parishioners have the opportunity to raise issues at the Annual Parish Meeting.  All regular Council meetings are open to the public.  These are publicised on this website and the Council's Facebook page.  Please contact the Clerk if you have any queries about attendance or participation at Council meetings.
